New Skate Product Updates
We're stoked to be stocking this range of minicruiser boards from UK longboard and cruiser brand D-Street!
Since the Penny Mini Skateboard Revolution kicked in a few years ago, there's a lot of boards like this on the market - but we think these are about the best of the bunch.
What makes D-Street boards stand out?
As well as some nice understated graphics and finishes, these boards are set up how we like our mini cruisers - turny!!
The trick to setting up a rad mini cruiser setup is to get the...
We've just taken delivery some more Hackbrett decks!
We now have:
Das Schnelle downhill/Freeride deck. This is a super-fun DH board with a kicktail, some real nice 3D concave, and loads of other features like flat truck seats and CNC details. The 2018 version is a little bit narrower than last year's which makes the deck a bit more nimble and the rails a bit easier to get your feet over.
The Krokodil symetrical freeride/slide deck - basically two Schnelle noses stuck together to create a perfect shorter twintip slide setup
The Balance Pintail in Walnut - one of the sexiest looking...
The "new" Santa Cruz boards are worth a special look.
The Cruz Missile II concave was developed in the eighties to hit vert and transition. We like both of those things, so we were stoked to see Santa Cruz bringing it back in their latest line of reissues!
There's a lot going on with these boards. Combining rocker, a spoon nose, and a two stage tail, this concave feels amazing and will change the way you think about your skateboard.
With a deep concave for your front foot, and a mellower section for your back foot, we think...
We're now stocking the 2nd generation Orangatang Freeride wheels!
Click here to check them out.
Left to right is the Keanu 66mm, the Kilmer 69mm, and the Cage 73mm.
All these wheels feature a big core, stoneground running surface, rounded edges and narrow-ish contact patch, which gives an easy slide from new. (Check out our wheel guide for more info on all that...)
The Cage is pretty big for a longboard wheel these days, so watch out for wheelbite. On a drop-through or cutaway board it'll be a real nice cruising wheel with a bit...
We've been stocking a small selection of old-school reissue decks, and wheels and trucks to go with them of late.
Popsicles have their place... but we're two old dudes in a shed with a ramp, and we want big, shapey skateboards that make us feel like it's 1987 again.
Like our longboard stuff, we're very picky about what we stock. We're only doing brands that we think are rad, and we're only doing things that we skate (or want to skate!) ourselves.
Basically we're like kids in a sweet shop.
Our stock is changing all the time, as we generally only get limited numbers...
We've just taken delivery of a load of Hackbrett Longboards decks! More pf the giant Wasser pintails and some of the new 2017 Das Schnelle freeride/speedboards.
We've always offered these boards as custom completes, but you had to call us to order one.
Hackbrett boards built up with hand-picked undercarriage options to suit each board. So now it's even easier to own one of these beauties than ever!
Check out this quick, simple and effective footstop solution from Sabre Trucks!
Despite all the "proper" footstops you can get buy out there, we know quite a few freeride and downhill longboarders who prefer to just use a bushing instead. It's small, out of the way, isn't going to eat you if you land on it, isn't going to munch your shoes, and just about gives you enough grip for those monster toeside standups and predrifts.
This kit from Sabre is only £5.50, and it simply drops into one of your existing deck mounting holes. It comes with a proper stainless steel Imperial...
We've been adding to our bushing selection recently!
We now stock Riptide, Sabre and Bones longboard and skateboard bushings in a huge variety of shapes and durometers.
We recommend that you pick your formula first, depending on how much rebound you want. We reckon that Riptide's Krank Formula is the most lively, followed by Sabre, then Riptide's WFB is the least lively.
In terms of lean it's the other way round - WFB is the formula to go for for maximum lean and turn, then Sabre is a bit less leany and then Krank is the most bouncy so...
Get your tweak on! We've just got some of these Khiro Angled Riser Kits in stock if you really want to dial your baseplate angle in without spending a fortune on CNC precision trucks.
This kit will allow you to dabble in the world of "split angles" - which is where you run a "wedged" truck at the front and a "dewedged" truck at the back of your board. By making your front truck turn more than your back truck, you can reduce speed wobble, increase turn, and create a more positive hookup from faster...
