You ask, we deliver

Back in April we hosted

a surfskate session that got rained into a multistory car park.

You asked for more... and I hope the ~50 of you who turned up to St Georges skatepark last night would agree that it was delivered!

More on that next week when we've had time to go through the photos.

More recently we posted about the Pantheon Supersonic to a very warm reception and a lot of questions about setting it up.

And fair enough! It's spendy, you want it feeling good, and there are a bunch of different opinions out there about it.

So - after the surprising amount of admin it takes - we've now got Supersonic completes online.

This is perhaps a good time to remind you that we'll send you a 10% discount if you can find a typo or false information on the website... We ain't copy-pasting, and mistakes can happen!

The setup

Trucks: Bear Grizzly Gen6, 155mm hangers, 50° front, 40° back

Why not Paris?
Jeff at Pantheon has used both Bear and Paris to set up the Supersonic. We picked the Bears because...
  • 40° baseplate option perfectly matches the 40° wedge of the deck
  • Stronger, more refined design to handle long distances
  • No slop/better return of pumping energy
  • 43° 150mm Paris are hard to come by in the UK!
Wheels: You've got options.

Why not Hokus?
We've seen some completes with 102mm Hokus. However, in the interest of this board working perfectly straight out the box, we've left it off of our stock options. It will likely need some risers to skate worry-free.

Right, I'm off to embrace the weekend.

Next event: Thursday 1st August, we're going for a roll!

See you there, if not before,
Matt @ Vandem
