Will we be seeing you next weekend?

What are you most excited about?

The satisfaction of being part of raising thousands of pounds for a good cause?

Or simply getting your hands on one of the insane raffle prizes?

For me it's the point at which we rejoin the cycle path after the pumptrack session, all together in a skate train that stretches further than the eye can see.

It's what got me excited when I was 15 and its still my favourite bit of the Bristol Board Meeting - irrefutable evidence that I belong to a tribe.

There's no other event in the UK that brings together such a range of humans and boards, and I highly recommend coming along if at all possible.

Beginner? No problem! By the time you get to Bristol, you'll have worked out how to skateboard.

Old and crusty? No problem! There are multiple hydration points* along the way and with a nice soft set of wheels, the miles really do pass by in a breeze.

Family commitments? Time to get creative...

The details

When: Sunday 8th September, 10:30am

Where: Starting from Green Park, Bath

We finish here at Vandem Longboard Shop with a huge raffle - and even have a BBQ lined up this year to get enough power back into your legs for the way home.

The raffle sponsors:

All money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

However, if you have a charity dear to your heart that you'd like to raise money for - please use this opportunity to do so.

Vanny McVanstone is doing exactly that this year to raise money to help his niece get out to Sydney from NZ for the specialist treatment she needs. Provided enough is raised, he's going to skate the 15 miles in a purple sequin onesie...

...Usually we say suit up - its a board meeting after all. But in this case I feel we can make an exception.

I am truly excited to see you there, if not for how my body is going to feel at the end of the day.
Matt @ Vandem
