Concrete Waves London: A Photography Exhibition

We're not being paid for this...

And maybe I'm just projecting my post-covid social poverty, but we thought our London-based readership might enjoy this event!

Vitor is hosting a photography exhibition largely based on the surfskate community in London.

If the recent arrival of the sun in our skies has tempted you out for a ride - this will be the perfect place to meet some likeminded individuals and a big part of the London landlocked surf and surfskate folk.

Featuring portraits of surfskaters, as well as surf photography by Nuno Alves and Julia Carolin-Zeng, and eco surfboards handbuilt in Cornwall.

Running from this Wednesday May 17th until Sunday 21st.

Doors are open 3pm - 8pm at the Espacio Gallery, Brick Lane.

Further info at www.vitorlopes.art/exhibition.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, check out Concrete Waves London. With everything from spot guides to lessons and regular meets, it's a growing community of people from all backgrounds finding solace in the concrete jungle with the help of a plank of wood with wheels on.

We love it.

Enjoy the sun, enjoy the photography, enjoy the company!

This photo is from our shop, cos you know we know a thing or two about surfskates too!
