Schmitt Stix Yard Stick XL Cruiser Board

The Schmitt Stix Yard Stick is one of the original XL skateboards from the 80s, that paved the way for so many more!

Reissued with new school truck mountings but otherwise as it was in 1986 - even from the same factory in the USA. Pure maple construction, same graphic, same 36" length.

A perfect skateboard for snowboarders, taller people and anyone less interested in technical tricks but keen to have flow and stability to cruise around town - with the option of tricking always available.

Makes for an epic transition board too - riding a longer board really gives a different feeling and can teach you a lot. No chance to flail around and hope it follows - your weight distribution has to be spot on. Going back to a regular length (~31") deck after this, you'll find your skating is more controlled and cleaner by a mile... but honestly, theres a good chance you don't go back!

This one doesn't come gripped so make sure to grab some regular griptape too - 3ft will do, and if ordered with this deck we'll make sure you get the whole 36" to cover it.

After years riding longboards, surfboards and snowboards I find that these longer, lazier street decks suit me down to the ground and I recommend the Schmitt Stix Yard Stick to anyone willing to listen.
