Loaded Omakase Short Longboard
Awesome little shred sled......
The Omakase is the deck Loaded Originally created as an e-board. However on its own without the electric longboard gubbins, it actually makes for a rad little shredder. Short, fat, wide, and stable yet nimble. This little package has it all going on. Great for commuting, cruising, light freeriding and can even handle a bit of skatepark action. Being a Loaded board it is, of course, beautifully finished and built to last too.
Compact deck length combined with a wide outline combined with a long wheelbase.
Two wheelbase options allowing you to run either reverse kingpin trucks (RKP's) like the Sabre Standard or traditional kingpin trucks (TKP's) like Indys
Full and generous kicktail generating maximum pop for ollies, control for surf style slashes and control for hybrid freestyle tricks.
Regular grip and a mild concave with rocker meet to make for a more comfortable cruising platform while still giving you control.
Trademark wheel flares give great positional feedback so you know exactly where you are on your board. They also give more wheel clearance which helps to avoid the dreaded wheelbite!
Constructed using the renowned Loaded attention to detail and quality. A three-layer lightweight Bamboo core is securely pressed between two epoxy soaked fibreglass layers to make a super-strong deck that is feather-light and responsive.
Graphics are applied to the bottom veneer. The Roe using classy lighter rosewood with minimal graphic. The Palm is a fuller graphic but still highlights the beautiful black Walnut finish.
The top of the board features a die-cut grip showing off the classic laser etched Loaded logo on their trademark Bamboo.
We have built up the Omakase into two distinct setups, and both completes are finished off Loaded's own logo griptape pattern.

Loaded Omakase Short Longboard: Loaded Recommended Complete Spec
Loaded's recommended setup changes depending on which graphic you go for.
The Palm ("All-round") comes with Black Paris V3 180's and 70mm Stimulus wheels in 80A Orange for a real nice all-round setup.
The Roe ("Grip n Rip") is set up slightly grippier, with narrower 165mm Paris V3's and 75mm Orangatang In Heat 77A.
The Surfskate option features the Carver CX/C2 truck combination in parallel with big 80mm Orangatang Kegels in 80A.
All of them come with Loaded's built-in Jehu V2 bearings.
Please note, these completes feature stock bushings. Orangatang bushings can be found here if you want to experiment!

Is the Elite setup worth the extra £40?
For only an extra £40, you can upgrade the "Pro" setup to the "Elite" Level build.
The Elite setup is a pretty heavy wheel and bearing upgrade over the Pro.
You get Sabre Built-In Labyrinth Bearings - fully shielded, easy to clean, with built in bearing spacers. They roll faster and last longer than the Pro level metal shielded ABEC5 bearings.
The Elite complete also includes Cult Chronicle 65mm Longboard Wheels White (Stoneground), poured from a higher grade urethane. Premium urethane rolls fater, lasts longer, and generally injects a whole new level of life into the board - once you've skated decent wheels, you won't want anything else!
The trucks are a huge part of any longboard or cruiser setup - and extra spend on the Elite takes you to a pair of Sabre Standard Longboard Trucks.
These trucks make a HUGE difference to how your board will skate - you'll be able to turn harder and carve deeper, whilst being more stable. That's the magic of a proper longboard truck!
Less obvious is the wheel upgrade. Your extra £40 gets you a set of Cult Chronicle over the Pro build's Cult Nova. Apart from the obvious size difference, the Cult Chronicle are poured from a higher grade of urethane - an invisible difference that you will immediately notice as soon as you push the board off.
Just like the bearings, the wheel upgrade makes your board roll faster and last longer - what's not to like??
If you look at the SRP difference of these components and add them together you'll see that the upgrade from Pro to Elite represents serious value - trust us, it's well worth it.
Coupled with this, we've noticed that almost everyone who makes it into our shop ends up with an Elite setup - the value is clear once you have the board in your hands!

Some other things to consider...
- If in doubt - go softer! Turnier boards are easier to balance on, and a lot more fun to skate.
- If you are "between hardnesses," we would recommend the softer option. So for example, for a 73kg rider, "Soft" rather than "Stock Setup" might be a better choice. Get in touch if you're not sure!
- if you want a very turny board - say for a dancing longboard - then it's worth going one stop softer than you otherwise would do. Watch out for wheelbite though!
- Likewise, if you want a board for downhill speed, then go up a step harder than the weight table suggests.
- You do have a bit of adjustment in the truck's kingpin nut, but we would suggest that if you have more than two threads showing then it's time to go to a harder bushing.

This is my first board since the 90’s. So being larger in every metric than when I last road l hoped the loaded omakase would offer a strong stable smooth platform. It absolutely did, with bells on. I Put some harder bushings in the saber trucks probably advisable for any other dads wanting to get out skating with there kids. All round fabulous board lovely quality. So happy to be back on a skateboard feel 16 again. AH 43 Manchester

This is the board that started it for me and I still love it! I've played around with lots of setups, bushings, wheels, angled rise pads - it is dead versatile, and a great board to learn, and to progress on. Mine is the "Roe" finish and it is top quality.
