Ordered Cult Road Warrior 74mm Along with Lush bearings. Got lost in the post! However Matt and team were quick to respond to my emails and send out and new set. The difference from my old seized up bearings was amazing. Never ending carving is a breeze!

Lush Longboards Mako Pintail Longboard

Iconic UK longboard brand Lush have finally got back in the pintail game!

The Mako is a refined 44" pintail shape, fuller and longer than most others we have in the shop.

By rounding off the nose and tail, Lush have managed to create a shape that no only looks good (which is, let's face it, the whole point of a pintail!), but it's also a lot more functional than most other pintails out there.

A mellow flex, long wheelbase, wheel wells, a die-cut griptape job, and a simple graphic on a super-classy woodgrain finish make the Mako the perfect choice if you want a pintail longboard.

Lush Longboards Mako Pintail Longboard: Precision Complete Spec

The Precision Complete is as smooth, plush and carvy as pintails get, built up with Sabre Forged Precision Mk3 Trucks. These trucks give outstanding board feel, especially when laying big mellow carves on the Mako's long wheelbase. Whether you're considering going down some hills, super into your hard carving, or want to know that you're riding the best there is - the Precision complete is the one. A nicer pintail you will not find anywhere!

Lush Longboards Mako Pintail Longboard: Elite Complete Spec

The Elite Complete is a premium cruising/carving setup which is seriously good value - the Sabres are far superior to other trucks on completes at this price point, and the Cults are race-proven - some of the fastest rolling and grippiest wheels on the market.

Lush Longboards Mako Pintail Longboard: Pro Complete Spec

The Pro Complete is an awesome setup for the price, with decent trucks that turn really well and fast aftermarket wheels.

Is the Elite setup worth the extra £70?

For only an extra £70, you can upgrade the "Pro" setup to the "Elite" Level build.

The Elite setup is a pretty heavy wheel and bearing upgrade over the Pro.

You get Lush Longboards Easy Rider Bearings - fully shielded, easy to clean, with built in bearing spacers. They roll faster and last longer than the Pro level metal shielded ABEC5 bearings.

The Elite complete also includes Cult Cultron 74mm Longboard Wheels White, poured from a higher grade urethane. Premium urethane rolls fater, lasts longer, and generally injects a whole new level of life into the board - once you've skated decent wheels, you won't want anything else!

Less obvious is the wheel upgrade. Your extra £70 gets you a set of Cult Cultron over the Pro build's Lush Smoothie. Apart from the obvious size difference, the Cult Cultron are poured from a higher grade of urethane - an invisible difference that you will immediately notice as soon as you push the board off.

Just like the bearings, the wheel upgrade makes your board roll faster and last longer - what's not to like??

If you look at the SRP difference of these components and add them together you'll see that the upgrade from Pro to Elite represents serious value - trust us, it's well worth it.

Coupled with this, we've noticed that almost everyone who makes it into our shop ends up with an Elite setup - the value is clear once you have the board in your hands!

How about the Precision build?

If you're ready to skate the best setup out there the best of the best, step it up to the Precison Build!

For an extra £70, you get the same wheels and bearings as the Elite build, but with a set of Sabre Trucks Forged Precisions.

Given that a set of these trucks would normally set you back £180, that's a serious value for a serious setup!
