This is the new Landyachtz Tugboat Meowijuana Ultra Carve! That's a lot to dig into, let's break it down:

The Landyachyz Tugboat is the bigger brother of the super popular Dinghy model. At 30"x 9" it's 1.5" longer and 1" wider with a 0.25" longer wheelbase when compared with it smaller counterpart.

The wider longer platform gives you a cruiser that will suit a bigger rider. It offers more comfort under foot and greater stability than the smaller Dinghy.

Meowijuana... that's the graphic and we're sure we don't know what they mean. All we see is a cute little sleeping kitty. We have had people come into the shop before and say they want a board and it has to have a cat on it... well, here you go. Purrrrrr.

Ultra Carve? That means that this thing has RKP (reverse kingpin - longboard) trucks on it! Generally, Tugboats and other cruisers are set up with TKP (traditional kingpin - skateboard) trucks to keep you more on top of your board whilst turning.

With 130mm Bear Gen 6 Grizzly's underneath, this thing is really surfy... almost as surfy as the Landyachtz surfskate, to be honest, just with less crazy lean. It's stable, it pumps, it leans and it turns tight. It's really a lot of fun.

A proper full sized well positioned and thoughtfully crafted kicktail allows ollies to be popped at will. Negotiating curbs is a breeze when commuting through town.

Sanded wheel wells allow more clearance to accommodate bigger wheels and looser truck setups. Rolling faster and looser is always a good thing.

Some other things to consider...

If in doubt - go softer! Turnier boards are easier to balance on, and a lot more fun to skate.
If you are "between hardnesses," we would recommend the softer option. So for example, for a 73kg rider, "Soft" rather than "Stock Setup" might be a better choice. Get in touch if you're not sure!
if you want a very turny board - say for a dancing longboard - then it's worth going one stop softer than you otherwise would do. Watch out for wheelbite though!
Likewise, if you want a board for downhill speed, then go up a step harder than the weight table suggests.
You do have a bit of adjustment in the truck's kingpin nut, but we would suggest that if you have more than two threads showing then it's time to go to a harder bushing.
