We can change the truck bushings on this board to suit your weight and riding style!
This way your board will come set up perfectly for you, straight out of the box.
Just refer to the table below and make your choice as you add to cart!

Some other things to consider...
- If in doubt - go softer! Turnier boards are easier to balance on, and a lot more fun to skate.
- If you are "between hardnesses," we would recommend the softer option. So for example, for a 73kg rider, "Soft" rather than "Stock Setup" might be a better choice. Get in touch if you're not sure!
- if you want a very turny board - say for a dancing longboard - then it's worth going one stop softer than you otherwise would do. Watch out for wheelbite though!
- Likewise, if you want a board for downhill speed, then go up a step harder than the weight table suggests.
- You do have a bit of adjustment in the truck's kingpin nut, but we would suggest that if you have more than two threads showing then it's time to go to a harder bushing.

First time skater and wanting to mainly cruise. Did my research and this board sounded ideal. The tugboat is great and feels comfortable! Vandem were superb, kept in contact about delivery and the personal note included is a great touch. Be using them again in the future!

Love this board and perfect size for me as a beginner. The board runs nicely over most surfaces of the urban jungle. Some pavements didn't feel as bumpy as I would expect due to the wheels. This board can pick up speed quick on some slopes, had a bit of wobble but that was probably more to do with my beginner stance on the board. Overall this board has made it fun for me learn on. The board turned up nicely packaged, and short handwritten notes from the staff was nice and I got the sense that they care about their customers. Will defo use Vandem again.

I received excellent advice from Vandem. Getting back into skateboarding at age 40 after years and years. Learning again with my kids - this is perfect for that. I am a big unit: 6' 3" and over 17st with size 12 feet. the tugboat copes brilliantly - super stable and smooth. Flippy model has a couple of extra inches length compared to other tuggers and a slightly more prominent nose. I think it's the best of all worlds. Only thing I changed was the wheels (60mm lil EZs are too small for me) - put some 70mm Orangutangs on. Seems to be fine with no wheel-bite so far but I'm riding with pretty tight trucks. Might need to add slightly bigger risers if I loosen them up. Extremely happy with my midlife crisis board - big thanks to the guys at Vandem!
