The Loaded Omakase... designed as an e-board, ridden by most as a cruiser, and yet Loaded have taken it one step further and made it available as a surfskate too!
Not dissimilar to the Loaded x Carver Bolsa, the Omakase deck is a finely tuned machine that offers features not found elsewhere on surfskate decks.
Compared to the Bolsa however, the Omakase is longer and wider, and with much more wheelbase. For surfskating, that means more leverage on the rails to get it leaning as hard as possible whilst the extra wheelbase will elongate your turning circle... This thing will pump fast.
With a bamboo and composite construction it's also built a little tougher than the Bolsa - or indeed perhaps any other surfskate out there right now. If you're a powersurfer or are worried about smashing it into curbs, the Omakase is definitely a surfskate worth considering.
Built as standard with the Carver CX truck. Slightly less whippy than the C7, but slightly more versatile. It'll handle a little more speed (build up slowly, for your own sake) as well as transition skating and has a really awesome feeling in the pump of interaction between the front and back foot thats fairly close to what you might feel in the water.
The really crazy thing about the Omakase surfskate is that is comes with massive 80mm Orangatang Kegel wheels! No other surfskate has wheels this big. The Orangatang urethane is far superior to anything that comes as stock on a surfskate, and having 80mm of it? It goes!!
They get away with this thanks to the pronounced wheel arches offering more room for the wheels, as well as an extra point of reference for your toes and heels on the board. Super comfy and functional.
The Omakase surfskate doesn't get the same treatment of Orangatang Nipple bushings as the Bolsa, so you could consider that for an upgrade later down the line to bring yet more life into the board if you felt you needed it. To get it the same as the Bolsa you'll want soft Knuckles up front and medium Nipples in the back. And yes this is the only place you will ever read that sentence.
The heavyweight of the surfskate category, in all the best ways. Massive wheels, sturdy deck and the top choice of truck. You can't go wrong with the Loaded Omakase surfskate.
