Landyachtz Top Cat 37" Fade Longboard Cruiser

The Landyachtz Top Cat exists as a reincarnation of the super popular Drop Cat. You can probably guess the difference from the names... The Top Cat is the topmounted version - but it's also more than that!

Rather than just use a Drop Cat and leave out the drop-through holes, this board has had a whole new dropped rocker mould specifically designed for it. The massive rocker stays, and now a micro drop front and back bring you closer to the floor and give your feet a great reference point to jam into while you're carving hard down the street.

More than 20 years of Landyachtz experience with longboards comes together in this one. Their time-tested Canadian maple construction will take any amount of abuse you can throw at it - and don't be afraid to! It's common that this thing will carve so hard that the bottom of the board will hit the floor. It's designed that way. Apparently, they've even given it a few layers of paint so that as it scrapes, you get some different colours showing through. I cannot confirm that however, as it didn't feel right to start smashing up the super fresh new board when it arrived in the shop...

As with the Drop Cat, this thing sits comfortably on Plow King wheels - soft urethane with a square lip and no core for super juicy smooth riding. And then they took it a step further by stone grinding the finish. There's a fine line between genius and madness and this wheel brazenly treads it. It offers all the comfort of a smooth grip wheel that when pushed sideways - and you will push it - will slide out with a forgiving pffffft.

Amazing for pushing, cruising, digging deep into your carves and getting a bit sideways. Less appropriate if you're looking to do tricks - the lack of nose and tail makes it harder to flick it up into the air or your hands.
