Who needs skate gear anyway?
It's dark and raining. Hot chocolate and decorating the tree feels much more natural.
So we thought this week would work best to introduce the new format of Sabre bushing kits, to decorate said tree (or wreath).
With all the hoo-ha about split angle trucks, it no longer made sense for Sabre to sell packs of 4 bushings of equal durometer.
With split angles, you're going to want two softer ones up front, harder in the back.
Most popular bushing brands - namely Seismic, Riptide and Venom in our shop - work this way and sell bushings in packs of two.
Now Sabre does too - but with added extras! They also include cupped washers to fit. And boy do they fit.
You may be surprised how much different a well fitting washer makes to the whole feeling of your board.
Replacing the stock Paris setup (total height 34.6mm) with one of these new Sabre packs (total height 35.3mm) improves the ride considerably. Now, if you're anything like as tired as me then that was probably already too many words. I'll leave you to your last minute preparations!
