Arbor Longboards, Longboard Scene and Events, New Skate Product -

Cheap and buttery... but not margarine.

These wheels Arbor-illiant

When it comes to offering value to skaters - and mums and dads of skaters - I'd say we do better than any other shop out there.

We keep a keen eye on what's about for anything to add to that.

But sometimes something slips through the cracks.

Luckily for us, Shem was on the ball with this one. "Can you get these wheels?"

You bet we can.

USA manufactured with premium urethane, a great core, round lips and stoneground finish...

Don't get me wrong. They are really good, but they're not category-ending insane.

Cult Creators, Powell Snakes, Otang Beefcakes, and Seismic Encores all boast a similar level of design and production...

But not for £35!

It must be 15 years since a slide wheel of this quality was available for such a price.

You've got the 64mm 82A Spuds, ideal under a smaller cruiser or XL skateboard for city slashing, or simply eeking out those first slides, getting used to the feeling of going sideways.

Or the 69mm 75A Vice, bigger, softer, better suited to longboards, a little more space, a smidgen more speed.

Both will slide beautifully - the Spuds being smaller and harder will be the slidier of the two.

I can believe it's not butter, because I'm not stupid.

For the same reason, I've blagged a set to shred this summer before they inevitably sell out - that price screams end of line, to me.

I'm off freeriding. Maybe you'll hear about it next week :)
