For nearly a decade
The answer for me was Hawgs Wheels.
And so for old times sake...
...and as a warm up for new Landyachtz gear - the 2025 lineup is being sorted onto ships as we speak...
We decided to go crazy and list all the Hawgs we can get our grubby mits on.
Hawgs supported me in skateboard-related endeavours for many years and it feels great to showcase them as best we can in our shop.
As with most things we stock, that means amazing product photography, all relevant product specs and info, and honest descriptions written thanks to years of experience falling off of this exact stuff.
Nobody does it better.
Wide trucks, Bell Drop, eBay leathers... talk about a throwback.
Italy 2012. My first full box of sponsored wheels and the Swiss border control weren't at all sure about that. Needless to say, I didn't win the race.
Having extensively tested the whole range, I found myself honed in on only two models that covered all the longboarding I wanted to do:
- Downhill and distance: Cheetah Hawgs
- Everything else: Fatty Hawgs
However, that was a time before EZs and Doozies existed.
These days EZs (or Lil EZs for less wheelbite) would take a welcome place on a cruiser that I want to keep light - much narrower than Fatties, they're an awesome wheel to throw under a skate deck and bam - you have a cruiser. They can handle rough pavements but also tricks round town.
And Doozies? I loved the width of the Fatties for that extra bit of feedback during slides, and the more planted rollover than a smaller wheel. And now they've gone and made them even wider. These things are epic. Doozy, in fact.
I could talk about these things all day. For as many times as I have fallen off them, they've given me the confidence required to take on situations of some intensity.
So here's a shoutout to Hawgs Wheels. Thanks for the good times!
And a shoutout to Rob and Josh, who noticed we had these online before this email was even drafted and already blagged themselves sets. Legends.
Looks like some skateable weather this weekend - enjoy it while it lasts!

Cheetahs. Unique in their dual duro construction - the inner urethane is softer than a regular plastic core, but supports all the way out to under the lip itself.
EZ Hawgs. Remember the Tracers? This is the next gen. Soft and predictably slidey, and the embossed logos always look amazing.
