One year after Loaded Longboards brought their first bracket board to market, they've upped their game with another: The Loaded Tangent.
The Tangent is loaded with all the best features of the Fathom, with a few twists:

It's longer. 2.75" longer in total. Doesn't sound like much but if you're a taller rider, prefer a wider stance, or simply want the extra comfort and stability of a longer wheelbase, then the Tangent is the one for you

It's wider, by half an inch. No worries about foot placement with such a nice sized platform - and if they do wander close to the edges, the concave steepens up towards the rails to let you know, as well as the super flipped corners acting as perfect reference points.

It's got rocker. We love the feeling of our feet being cuddled by a good rockered skateboard. It feels intuitive to stand in, and has the added benefit of wedging the truckmounts slightly - your baseplate angle is increased, giving you more turning power and agility despite the longer deck.

Juicy basalt composite construction. Lighter and stronger, with a comfortable dampening flex to really soak up the road noise that won't get saggy over time.
Cruising, commuting, distance rides, pub runs... there aren't many comfier ways to handle them on a skateboard than with this thing! As with the Fathom, you have the ability to ride 100mm+ wheels whilst still being low to the ground for ease of pushing, and without risk of wheelbite.
This is largely thanks to the G-Bomb designed "Zee Bracket" which essentially creates a drop-through, drop-down longboard from a topmount. It lowers the ride height by around 4cm and extends out far enough forward to get massive wheels on there with no danger of them touching your deck.
Two options for wheels on this one, the 85mm Caguamas or the 105mm Dad Bods.
Go for Caguamas if you'll be riding predominantly through the city, including traffic lights, sudden changes of direction, lots of stops and starts. The lower weight and diameter means they are quicker to accelerate and decelerate and will save you energy from A to B.
Go for Dad Bods if you have the fortune to have a good stretch of tarmac to really stretch the legs. Sea fronts, cycle paths, runways... The Dad Bods take a little extra time and effort to get up to speed, but once they're there, you'll have trouble stopping them! A great way to experience the pure joy of rolling along, wind in your face, not a care in the world.
The Tangent comes with 150mm Paris Trucks that keep the setup feeling loose and playful, and the wheels within the width of the board - the pros will say you can get more power out of a push if its closer to your board. The bros know the main benefit is not kicking your back wheels on the way past!
For those of you with access to a 3D printer, there's also a file to print out your own tail nub here! It'll allow you to pop the board up into your hands with ease.
A super comfy distance and commuting machine. If you asked me to talk all day about it, but I'd likely go off on a Tangent.
