The Chrysalis is a classic-looking piece from Carver - it's on the smaller side for a surfskate, perfect for humans that also find themselves on the smaller side. Not to mention it's maneuverability, be it as a surf trainer for onshore days or simply as a fun cruiser for the beachfront, skatepark or local park n ride.
Whilst it's pretty short, it has a nice width to it at 9.75" that will allow you to really dig those rails in and get it pumping and turning to your hearts content.
This setup has the Carver CX truck underneath. This is their updated and most popular model - always a good shout for tight turns with added versatility. If you're not sure which truck you want, we've reviewed the Carver C7 vs CX vs Landyachtz surfskate trucks to try and give you an idea of what the different systems offer.
The epic graphic is by the hand of Jasmin Meier in Byron Bay, Australia. Just as this was inspired by the psychedelic 60's and 70's, you too could find yourself lost - on a journey - through time, space and your own mind as you dig deep into your carves and feel your worries melt away. I'm serious, it's really epic!
Proper griptape so no worries about that wearing off.
If you're after a surfskate and want to know you've got the real deal, look no further than a setup from Carver like the Chrysalis. Hours, days, years of fun await... It's so good, you might even be hoping for onshores!
