Carver have spent decades, well, carving. Once you've mastered the flats, one of the natural ways to progress is to want to skate banks and transitions - especially if you're looking to get close to the feeling of riding a wave.
And while they all make it look super easy on the videos, even riding the original Carver C7 truck... it left something to be desired in the skatepark in terms of ride height, stability and longevity.
And so the Carver C5 truck came into being. The same flowy, surfy Carver nature wrapped into a lower, narrower package. Suddenly ollies, tricks and skatepark riding feel more natural than ever.
Throw them under a functional double-kick and you've got yourself the Carver Streetsurf Series.
