But this weekend there will be true suffering, for those who are into that kind of thing.
Castle Combe Circuit near Chippenham will host 100+ skaters of all types for a 6 hour race as part of Go-Skate 2025.
How far do you think you could go in 6 hours? Would you be interested in finding out?
For those who aren't, rest assured - that's where the surfing and the Sambas come in. It's a social event too, and lots of people will be there to simply enjoy a "longboard track day".
Meeting people, having a skate, testing different boards...
Danielle will be there representing Vandem with a whole host of bits and bobs to test, including the Carver Surfrider and the new Lush Samba.
She'll have a selection of gear for sale too, and if you ask nicely I'm sure she'll knock a few % off the price as an event-only deal.
The new Sabre baseplate will also be visible for those who are looking... :)
There's still time to grab a ticket and yam some pasta before it kicks off, and I hope we'll see as many of you as possible a few weeks later at the Bristol Board Meeting too.
