We're still riding the high of the BBM
But the ever dynamic world of longboard goods doesn't stop for anyone!
It's a bit of a bump back to reality but we're here today to bring you the latest on Pantheon wheel price and availability.
If you're into riding big wheels, you'll be well aware of the Pantheon offering.
You'll likely also be aware that the 92mm Karmas have been out of stock for some time.
I can tell you that the green 102mm Hoku 74A is also now out of stock... This is the case in the whole of Europe for the forseeable future - we don't have an estimated restock date and are starting to feel like it won't be until next spring.
To make up for it, the pink 102mm Hoku 78A has been discounted.
The Core
The remaining European stock of the pink Hokus features the original "Nautilus" core, whilst the unavailable wheels have been updated to a new (Nice-ilus?) core.
With 1g of weight difference, I don't think I'd notice much difference between them. Big wheel roll good.
The Completes
The lack of wheel availability meant that, up until about five minutes ago, there were no Pantheon completes with Pantheon wheels available anywhere in the UK.
I've fixed that by creating pink Hoku versions - that include the discounted pricing.
The Superdupersonic and Trip do suffer with wheelbite with 102mm wheels. It can be avoided, but you've got to be willing to get a bit involved with tweaking your setup to you own preferences to do so.
I've therefore left those out for now - feel free to give us a call if you do want one.
But the following completes are now available discounted with lovely pink wheels:

Naturally we build these to Jeff's spec, including 1/8" drop-up risers to get you a little bit closer to the ground. Roughly 1/8", actually.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don't reckon you need gigantic wheels to get the most from a pumping setup such as the Superdupersonic.
Pumping is essentially a series of micro accelerations and accelerating is always easier with a smaller, lighter wheel.
Or maybe I'm just mad that I pushed the length of the UK on 75mm wheels. But that's a story for another day.

There are certainly different opinions when it comes to suitable wheels for covering distance.
Whilst this board would have been way more fun at the pumptrack, I'm pretty sure team big-wheels was having a much better time on that rough stuff past Bitton station!
