Waterborne Surf Skate Rail Adaptor Kit

Change any skate or longboard into a surfskate with the Waterborne Surf Skate Rail Adaptor Kit.

Adding this kit to your setup will "surfskatify" your board - adding height but above all, lean and turn!

The part with the pivot (Surf Adapter) goes above your front truck, making for a Carver C7-esque front. Anyone who's ridden one knows how manoeuvrable they are.

And whilst Carver have their own C2 back truck, many other surfskates do suffer in the back-truck department. It takes quite a truck to keep up with the crazy lean and movement of the front, and this is where the Waterborne kit really shines.

The double plate, double bushing thing (Rail Adapter) is for your back truck which gives it the height and lean it needs to not only keep up with the front, but bring a whole new element of boardfeel into play.

The Waterborne setups obviously change a lot depending on what trucks/board you put them on but in general compared to a C7 they:

Offer more interaction between the front and back truck
Won't lean so far over that they turn themselves upside down
Have a really pleasant return-to-centre and overall smooth, flowy feeling

You also have the opportunity to tune the system further with the "Fin system" - a 5 degree wedge for the front truck to increase or decrease the angle, further increasing or decreasing the amount of lean the system will offer.

It's a pretty clever bit of kit that really does feel good to ride - as well as being a cheaper way to enter the surfskate world than a full set of trucks or a whole new complete.

Waterborne Surf Adapter (front truck)
Waterborne Fin System (front truck wedge)
Waterborne Rail Adapter (back truck)
All the bolts you'll need
Stickers

To further adapt the adaptor, you can switch out the bushings in the rail adapter in the back. We wouldn't recommend anything too soft but hey... it's your board!

Most regular longboard cone/barrel bushings will fit in there no problem.
