Timber Tortini Freestyle Longboard

This is the Tortini, aptly named ("little cakes" in Italian) because when this tasty deck arrives at your door, you won't be able to resist taking a bite! This shape is one of Timber Boards dance and freestyle specialist machines, read on to find out why...

The length - this one sits at 43.3" long and just over 9" wide. It's got all the platform you need for fancy footwork be it old-school cross-steps or if you like to ski your way to work in new school fashion. But it's not as long as your classic dancers such as the Legend or Tarab, allowing you to flip and trick to your hearts content without the bulk of such a huge board.

Much of that lightness is thanks to a clever construction - carbon fibre hides under the topsheet and the tails are reinforced with another layer further in. This adds a snappy pop but also ensures that the pop lasts for a long time to come. A super nice detail that we tend to only see on this type of well thought-out, high-end, handbuilt board.

The kicks feature a two stage curve as well as concave that continues up towards the end. The first stage by the bolts cradles your feet for one-footed moves. Step further out and the kicks curve upwards for nailing manuals and other tricks that require foot placement predictability.

It also features the Timber signature bamboo reinforcement at the kicks for durability and non-stop pop. Throw on top the massive amount of wheelbase options and you can slowly move your back truck in over time to keep the same level of pop and manual angle that you're used to throughout the life of the deck.

As for the complete, we build this one up in two variants: Pro and Elite. These are replicated across our range of dancing and freestyle boards for good reason - they feel amazing to skate! Smaller wheels accelerate faster off of just a few pushes and are light and nimble, perfectly complimenting the board itself. Sabre trucks finish off the package: super fun, surfy and customisable to your hearts content.

On top this board features "dancer grip" so if you're looking to mainly dance - and definitely not skate in the rain - then you can simply ride it as it comes. If you're looking to get wet or get fully sliding, don't worry. Regular griptape can be applied over the topsheet and will stick just fine.

We were super impressed to see these boards in the flesh and have done our best to capture all the finer details of the design and construction in our photographs. Maybe its got to be seen to be believed but trust us, if you step on one, you'll feel the difference.
