Oh yes. You heard right. The Lush Samba is back.

A cult hero for over 20 years, if you want a longboard that turns and carves like crazy - look no further!

The Lush Longboards Samba is a unique setup that's designed to feel like a snowboard or surfboard. It's so different to everything else that it's almost "not a longboard!"*

Built around low-angle Sabre baseplates, the Samba is all about lean. It has a very tight turning radius for it's size, and you can really crank it over as you would on a wave or in the powder.

Due to it's super-low ride height and mad truck angle/setup, this board is amazing for standup slides. Even the grippiest wheels will feel very controllable sideways!

Whilst its designed and built for carving hard down hills, that's not to say it doesn't feel great on the flat too. You can pump it for miles without putting a foot on the floor. Not that its the end of the world if you have to... it's so low that its a breeze to push and to footbrake too.

This really is quite a step up in terms of turn performance, grip and board feel compared to your average carving setup - we really recommend that you step up to this setup if you can! Stop by the shop and have a roll on our demo one if you need convincing...

Precision

Squeeze the absolute maximum juice out of the Samba.

Sabre Forged Precision 28° trucks - as above. It doesn't get any better underneath a board like this. Years of carving await.

Sabre Built-in Labyrinth bearings - all the strength against side-loads you can build into a bearing, as well as dust and moisture resistant Labyrinth outer shields. No inner shields - easy to clean and re-grease when the time comes.

Cult Cultrons - a slightly more civilised Road Warrior - same size, same core, same insane rollover and cushy ride. A more forgiving inner lip and urethane to that turns it down from 11... to 10.

Elite

Sabre Standard 28° trucks - the important part for the Samba here is the 28°. The hangers on this one are the standard cast hangers that you could expect on any other complete from any other brand, that isn't Precision level from us. Some of the strongest, straightest cast longboard trucks on the market, you really can't go wrong trusting your turning to Sabre.

Sabre Built-in Labyrinth bearings - its still an Elite setup, so it still gets the business when it comes to bearings. Longer lasting against the rigours of Samba riding would be hard to find.

Cult Cultrons - you know its an epic setup when the budget option already comes with Cultrons!

*Whilst it's almost not a longboard, it's certainly not a surfskate either. If you're expecting to be able to wiggle your front foot to generate speed, you may be disappointed. The Samba will reward engaging the whole board and your whole body - dig those rails in, feel the groove! You won't look back.

It's also not a snowskate. Those things have skis on the bottom!

But if you surf, snowboard or make a habit of riding other types of boards that depend on the right conditions for a session, the Samba is the best and most accessible way for you to have those same feelings on asphalt. Guaranteed.
