It's genuinely difficult to say how impressed we were with our first visit to Vandem. We (my young son and I) were treated with such respect, patience and warmth.
Whilst we knew very little, the advice and help was never patronizing, indeed it was almost as if we were made to feel part of the brotherhood of longboarders and welcomed into the fold! What really blew me away was that upon telephoning a day later to enquire about another board for my (other) son I was told that a certain product that I had (already) purchased was now cheaper and they insisted on crediting the difference. This was without me knowing this or asking!
I have bought huge amounts of kit over the years and this has been the best experience by far.
'Support your local (specialist) shop' has perhaps become a bit of a cliche but I now would not dream of using anyone else for what has already become a wonderful new sport for our whole family.

Great team, great shop!
A few weeks ago I popped into the shop, fully prepared to spend a small fortune on a complete new set up, as I had signed up for UK Ultraskate 24, and my old ride was, well, old! I'm not local but was passing Bristol on the M4 due to work, so I thought I'd give it a try and drop in. Glad I did, Danielle and Rich were really welcoming and helpful. We chatted a lot about all things skateboard/longboard and I eventually left with my old ride upgraded with new wheels, bearings and bushes! So, at the Ultra me and my team won the team event, with all four of us busting out 50 laps (105km - 65 miles) each, giving us a total of 260 miles! Out on the track my new 92mm Pantheon Karmas kept up with all the other major brands wheels! All my team mates got thier quickest lap times on my board, so noticable that one guy just rode my board for all his laps!! So overall, wheels were great, service was even better! Rich could easily sold me a whole new rig, that I didn't really need, but instead he upgraded my old board enough for me to have a great experience at the Ultra! Happy days. Thanks Team Vandem. I'll be back ;-)

Vandem always provide great service and the bearings are pretty good, only used them a couple of times so far but they hold their own, very handy built in spacers too.....every set of bearings should have these !!!
