Carver 31" Resin CX Surfskate

The Carver Resin 31" CX surfskate is - according to Carver themselves - the surfskate by which all others are measured.

31" is a super comfortable mid-length platform that fits most humans - the 17" wheelbase being short enough to carve super tight turns and pump up to speed from zero, but long enough to build some real speed - be that through pumping on the flat or, dare I say it, down a little hill. Be careful!

With the CX truck up front the ride height is comfortable (see our review on the CX vs C7 here) and the board versatile. It can take longer to get it turning super tight than the C7, on which you can just think about turning and you'll already be facing the other way, but on the plus side there are less moving parts/maintenance, more stability and an all-round more robust truck that can be thrown around the skatepark as well as the streets.

The art on this one is part of the 3rd Resin Series collab with Ryan Martz - one of the most sought after resin artists in the world. The art was produced the proper way, with resin and pigments on fibreglass before being digitalised to print onto the surfskates. Classy.
