I'm very fortunate
to write each week about something I believe in. It makes my job much easier.
Some weeks are naturally easier than others... this is an easy one.
These new Arbor Street completes fit our ethos perfectly.

You won't see Arbor particularly often in this newsletter. The longboards aren't bad - we wouldn't stock them if they were - but the forefront of innovation, they are not.
They've had a few models discounted for a few years now, and are further disadvantaged by not being a core street brand...
So they've come out all guns blazing.
These are high quality completes, boasting components far beyond their price tag.
That's the stuff we want to support.

Ace trucks on a complete for barely over £100!
Ace have really gathered a following over the past few years, with many Indy riders making the switch and claiming superior turning and more flow.
We've stocked everything 8.0" wide and up - we're happy to leave anything under that to the tricksy hobbitses kids, embracing our old age and love of rolling about.
Also worth noting that these boards come with softer wheels than your average street setup. At 90A/92A, they'll allow you to pop a few ollies in the safety of your street without rattling your ankles to pieces.
And, well, it's rapidly becoming indoor skatepark season.
I'm confident in saying that you won't find a better feeling or longer lasting complete in this price range.

Not convinced a 31"-32" platform is for you?
Arbor have you covered with options at 34", 37" and 39" too!
Clearly thought of as "longboards" in-house as they haven't had the Ace treatment, but if you read last weeks newsletter then you already know I love a big skateboard.
The Axel Serrat "Crosscut" models have been superseded by the Shakedowns, so grab one of our last ones for 20% off with the code: [you'll have to subscribe to get that].
You knew there was a reason you read all the way to the bottom, didn't you?
Special shoutout to Adam this week who "even" enjoys this 😆 Thanks for the smile.

Perhaps it's time for another review contest soon...
Stay safe, skate hard,
Matt @ Vandem

A skateboard, in a skateboard shop. Who'd have thunk it?

With enough practise, you could one day be able to loft an ollie with as much height and style as Darren.
Probably not, but it's worth striving for.
