Testing, testing...
Go-Skate 2026 is the perfect place for it.
Want to test yourself? There are two separate race events this year:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles
- 6 hours - as far as you can manage!
Don't feel the need to exhaust yourself? Test some gear instead!
Naturally we'll have a host of Vandemo boards to hand, and I've heard there'll be some pretty special kit from Melonkacke Longboards too...

Lena not only holds the 24h Ultraskate World Record, but also designs, builds and sells her own gear and is going to have some samples on hand to whet your appetite.
I'm not sure if she sells horns separately or whether that's a DIY job. I had one on my bike when I lived in Germany and my goodness, they didn't like it. Highly recommend.
"Social skate" tickets are only £25 which seems a bargain for 6 hours of access to an actual race track and a whole load of new friends.
What's that? You want some new Pantheon gear for the event?
We hear you and we want some too!

We have been promised a good restock within a "few weeks" of all popular boards in all flexes and of course, the 92mm Karma wheels.
They should be here with plenty of time left before the event.
But if it sells out, you forget, can't afford or otherwise don't have the best gear? Don't worry. There will be a lot of talk about truck angles, widths, bushings, washers and efficiency, no doubt.
But you don't need top end gear to have a top time. If you call the shop and ask what board to ride for the event, I will not tell you to ride a topmount with beaten up old Otang InHeats:

But for the Goodwood Roller Marathon in 2010 that was my setup and so that's what I rode. I can highly recommend doing the same - we're doing this for fun after all!

Stoked to see this one come back - thanks Keith for putting it on.
One of us will see you there,
Matt @ Vandem

The track is smooth and largely flat - and once the racers have started there's also a lot of empty space to enjoy it!

John, I really tried to make it clear in this one that you don’t need new gear to enjoy this event to the fullest 😁 But by all means… though I would hope that the rain wheels won’t be necessary. Mid August in the south west mind…

This might just be the justification I need to warrant buying a Superdupersonic (and rain wheels)
