Seismic Defcon barrel bushings... rumour has it, Seismic Defcon urethane wheels take on a strange and mysterious juju once a teamrider has ridden them over 50mph. At that point, they're sent back to Seismic HQ (by goat, under the cover of darkness) where they're hand-ground down to 1" in diameter and resold as the best bushings in the world.
None of that is true.
However the urethane does obviously have great rebound characteristics, making it highly appropriate for use as bushings.
The sheer rebound of the urethane does mean that these may feel softer than a similarly shaped bushing of the same durometer from another brand!
However whilst we could talk all day about the compound, the main win with these bushings comes for building a highly personalised setup thanks to the sheer range of durometers available.
No other brand goes down as low as 73a in a barrel bushing - and if you're looking for roughly a 10a split between front and back for pumping (looking especially - but not only - at the Pantheon Supersonic), or even more for a downhill setup, then these puppies are going to be what you're looking for.
And they come in lovely pastel colours, too. The Gesmer thinks of everything!
These are the standard height bushings that measure 15mm (0.6") - these will fit most regular cast trucks such as Paris, Bear and Caliber. You can always add or remove boardside washers to lose/gain space for bushings.
Sold in packs of 2 (enough for one truck).
