When I got into sliding I first started using TFRs and they taught me the basics of sliding. Then I got these wheels and brought my sliding to a new level. I'm not the best but I can now coleman with speed and toe side glove down. I can also stand up heel side 180 easily. As well as this, these wheels are so durable. I have been skating these for a couple of months and have hardly shaved off much more than 1mm! The wheels have an incredibly 'merciful' release and you can slide with unlimited control. They are centerset so you can flip them to maximise the life of the wheels. They are brilliant to progress sliding. I would recommend these wheels to anyone who wants to get some speed up and learn slides. Overall a great wheel. P.S. I'm quite light so if you are heavier then you should probably go for the 83a.
Adam suggested these wheels for my Symbian 3D. Been boarding for years but only started sliding a few months back. Mainly just wanted to slide to control speed and stop on hills. Was having trouble losing traction with my classics especially with colemans. These wheels have made a massive difference. Grip and slide at the same time and are really smooth, not icy at all. Made a massive improvement to confidence. Im nowhere near doing standup slides at the moment but on a hard heelside carve these start to slide but again, in a predictable way.
Green means go!
I started freeriding about 7 months ago with these wheels, and jeez do they last long! I'm not even halfway through em'. If you are looking for a wheel with a very smooth transition from traction to slide, these wheels are a must have! Couldn't recommend enough.
Knowledgeable, helpful, genuine people that will go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need. The longboard Adam put together for my wife is awesome, and he pulled out all the stops to get it done in time.

FAQ's for Cult Wheels Chronicle 65mm Green (Stoneground)
Q: Are these wheels any good for learning to slide?
YES. In our opinion, this is about as good as sliding wheels get. And it's not just our opinion - check the reviews! Small, lightweight, long-lasting, and not too expensive, if you want to learn to slide your longboard, look no further!!
Q: I have a cruiser board. Is the Chronicle any good for it?
Yes, it's spot on for a topmounted shorter cruising board. If high rolling speed and the ability to deal with rough road surfaces are important to you, then we suggest going for something with a bigger diameter - the 65mm Chronicle is great for avoiding wheelbite, but it won't hold speed as well as a 70mm+ wheel.
