With the kneepads, elbow pads, and wrist guards offering you as much protection as possible you will be hurting less and skating more. These pads are suitable for all kinds of skating whether you are simply cruising your longboard around the streets, shredding bowls on your popsicle, or bombing your local hills.  

As you progress on a longboard, you might find yourself wanting to upgrade to slide gloves over the wrist guards. These provide great protection as well as giving you the option of learning to slide - an absolute must for anyone looking to pick up a bit more speed on their board. Never ride faster than you can comfortably stop!!!

However initially, the focus is on those lower speed falls. We've all been there. And for this, the wrist guards are a great thing to have. The knees and elbows will do the job long into the future.
