YOW x Christenson 33" C-Hawk Surfskate

The YOW C-Hawk 33″ is a surfskate version of one of California’s acclaimed shaper Chris Christenson’s best-sellers, the idea being to create a feel similar to the rail-to-rail surfing you can feel when riding a C-Hawk surfboard, maintaining a similar shape and aesthetic... but doing it all on land.

How to achieve that? Place the widest part of the board 4 inches below the front axle and lengthen this width almost all the way to the tail. By placing the trucks 17.85″ apart, this surfskate has solid stability and surfboard-like control. To get the most out of the board, we recommend that you try putting your feet in different positions when skating, as this will give you very different sensations.

A kicktail (albeit mostly aesthetic - if you think you want to ollie then choose one with a square tail) and medium concave keep your feet locked in as you  wiggle, carve and cruise through town.
