Santa Cruz Malba Tombstone Reissue Deck

This is the Santa Cruz Malba Tombstone 1986 reissue deck, never before seen in this colourway.

It looks super wide but at 10.24" is actually narrower than his brothers reissue (10.4"!) but it has that fat look due to being a few inches shorter - 29.72". No nose on this one to speak of.

No nose means the front truck can go further forward and you get a longer (15.75") wheelbase that will be a little more stable and lazier to turn - great if you're bombing it around town, picking up speed.

The concave on this one is the 80s R/SC from Santa Cruz - an early take on concave that works a treat - a super mellow and comfortable radial tub and slight kick. Gives enough hold for pool riding but isn't disturbing under your feet for a day of cruising around town.

The shape can be a bit marmite but for those who are into it, it's one of the coolest reissues out there.
