In 1975 there were 2 significant events in my life... I made my first guitar and I also made my first skateboard. Skateboards practically didn’t exist in the UK back then. I grew up near US air bases, so getting hold of wheels and trucks from USAF kids wasn’t too hard... That first board I made was a labour of love in vertically laminated maple, poplar and walnut and I finally retired it when I bought a G&S pintail.
Fast forward to today and I am still making guitars, but for all my longboarding needs there is Vandem. For over 40 years, aside from playing guitar, this has been my sport, challenge, thrill and chill. Vandem are all about top quality advice and service
