The Freebyrd is a high-value offering from Lush Longboards, set up to get you rolling with room to upgrade in the future. A great start to longboarding from one of the original longboard manufacturers - you can't go wrong with this for a first setup.
A drop-through truck mount makes this board nice and low, which translates to easy pushing and footbraking - both essential skills. A cambered maple deck gives a lively flex, whilst wide Lush Acid Drop wheels give grip and roll speed. The complete turns on 180mm RKP trucks with custom double barrel bushings and washers - it all adds up to a surfy, smooth setup. A great place to start out longboarding!
The Pro Complete is built with Sabre "Standard" 180mm longboard trucks, Sabre ABEC7 Bearings and Cult Wheels Classic 70mm's. This is probably the best value board we sell in our whole shop, with decent trucks that turn really well, fast wheels and solid bearings.
The Standard Complete comes set up with our "Standard" Longboard Setup Kit: Lush Acid Drop 63mm 78A Wheels, Lush 180mm RKP Trucks, ABEC 5 Bearings, and Sabre Hardware.

FAQ's for Lush Longboards Freebyrd Woodgrain
Q: How does the Freebyrd compare to the Mindless Wreather?
It's quite a different board to be honest - the Lush Freebyrd is flexier and lighter, as it's designed more as a cruiser/carver than a freestyle board like the Mindless Wreather. With its mini-kicks and stiffer flex, the Mindless longboard is closer to something like the Lush Symbian 3D or the Loaded Tan Tien. Check them out if that's what you're after!
Q: What's a drop-through truck?
See how the truck is mounted "through" the deck? This lowers the deck height, creating stability and making the board lower to the ground. These two things make the board nicer to push and footbrake, and they also makes slides more controllable if you want to do any of that/ For just cruising and carving about though, drop-through trucks are ideal.
