Pre-preg is marginally stiffer and there are 2 less layers of glue in the deck overall, giving a lighter finish whilst still being strong as an ox. The mollusc, that is. We are yet to have confirmation that you can skate these on the sea bed. However, the logic is that the spiral spokes diffuse stress out from the core into the supportive outer disk making for a lighter and longer lasting product.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe shape\u003c\/strong\u003e is narrower than many comparable wheels and was designed to fit under any Pantheon setup. But its as it should be - this product was designed for the top level of racing, and their pain is our gain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you're looking for something to go on a skateboard or cruiser, it probably isn't the one. The tall barrel bushings and flat washer combo mean that it leans \u003cem\u003ea lot \u003c\/em\u003eand wheelbite is hard to avoid.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's not impossible - but you'll need to experiment. We'd suggest starting with some cup washers for the bushings to provide a bit of a stop to the turn and help return to centre. Pantheon developed the crescent drop, which instead of being a straight line across the board is bordering on a semi-circle. In the centre of the board the drop is closer to your foot, and it recedes back towards the shoulders of the deck. This shape makes it stiffer and stronger, as well as offering your foot a more precise marker for exactly where it is on the board. All regular advantages of drop-down decks still apply - a lower centre of gravity for stability, easier pushing and braking and super forgiving initiation of slides.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eConcave-wise, it's a gentle radial concave. It's not trying to be something it isn't - for a board designed for distance you don't want too many features under foot.
