The Lush Mako is also one of the few longboards that comes with \u003ca title=\"Split angle longboards\" href=\"https:\/\/vandemlongboardshop.co.uk\/collections\/split-angle-longboards\"\u003esplit angle trucks\u003c\/a\u003e as standard, which ups the functionality by about another 100x.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLonger wheelbases like this can feel a little unresponsive with their wide turning circles - this is completely resolved thanks to the split angle trucks. You can cruise it, pump it, carve it, turn it round tight corners, and yet still have more stability than a comparable board with symmetrical trucks on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is really no sense in buying any other pintails on the market right now! I'll update this line once some more brands catch on, but right now it's as simple as that.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll that and a mellow flex, long wheelbase, a die-cut griptape job, and a simple graphic on a super-classy woodgrain finish make the Mako a true classic of the British longboard world. However, there are \u003ca title=\"Landyachtz Dipper\" href=\"https:\/\/vandemlongboardshop.co.uk\/collections\/landyachtz-dipper\"\u003eother options...\u003c\/a\u003e worth a look, if surfing skeletons are more your thing!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis board features TKP trucks - street trucks, like you'd find on a regular popsicle. They're narrow, mind. This gives it a much more dippy divey feeling that reacts super well at lower speeds, very similar to the \"Pro\" setup of the \u003ca title=\"Lush Minnow\" href=\"https:\/\/vandemlongboardshop.co.uk\/collections\/lush-minnow\"\u003eLush Minnow\u003c\/a\u003e. If you've got your eye on some big hills, however, we'd recommend looking for some RKP (longboard) trucks to offer more stability as the speed picks up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Fatty Hawgs are some of my favourite from the Hawgs lineup and give the board a nice plush feeling whilst rolling - whilst being stoneground and with rounded lips so if you want to push a bit harder in your carves, you might just get it sliding out - and it'll feel great.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Landyachtz Dipper is a classic board from a classic brand.
